Basic Principle of TDR Measurement | By utilizing Coaxial Probe, high frequency signal that is generated by TDR Generator is loaded on a pattern of PCB. The reflection wave against the signal is measured by the Sampler, and thus the Impedance mismatch is calculated. |
| Ionizer | The Ionizer attached to the arm introduces an air purge prior to the test and neutralizes the static charge of the PCB. Otherwise, the TDR meter may run the risk of damaging the sampling unit from the sparking caused by its touching of a charged board. |
