Artwork
Negatives: (preferred for artwork containing halftones or screens) Supply film which is right-reading, emulsion down, 133 line screen. Indicate color on each negative, and for multi-color images a minimum of 3 register marks is required.

Positive: (preferred for line art) Resin Coated or Velox preferred. When providing positive art containing halftones or screens use an 85 line screen with a maximum of 70% and a minimum of 20% for best reproduction quality.

Photocopy or laser output: (not recommended) Line art only. DOC cannot be held responsible for reproduction quality of any screens or halftones provided in this manner.

Color Separations
Four-Color Process: Please supply one negative for each process color with the color clearly indicated on each piece of film. All four-color process jobs must be accompanied by a color key. Match prints, chromalins or progressive press proofs are acceptable.

Spot Color: If negatives are supplied, please provide one negative for each color, with the color clearly marked on the film.For camera-ready, positive art please provide base art with the second color on an overlay. The DOC graphics department can create spot color separations from single color art if the two colors do not touch, and are separated from each other by at least 1/8 inch.

Trap: Minimum trap of .144 pointwith .25 preferred.
