The US Department of Labor reports that one in three college graduates fails to find a job in their field of study. While our nation's colleges graduate 1.2 million students each year with professional degrees, The economy only creates 600,000 new jobs for them. Many college graduates find themselves returning to school to enroll in a two year technical program to increase their likelihood of employment. Whether they have no college, a few college credits or even a degree, a career in masonry offers an excellent alternative to these students. Masons are almost guaranteed employment upon completion of their apprenticeship and they will have a lifetime of competitive wages. | |||||||||||||||||||
