| Nac el 23 de Octubre de 1940 en la Ciudad de Mxico D.F. y actualmente recido en Tijuana B.C. desde el ao de 1976.
Me inicie en la fotografa en 1975 a raz de una exposicin fotogrfica de Manuel Alvarez Bravo y Henri Cartier Bresson en el Palacio de Bellas Artes.
Esta exposicin me impacto mucho y pens que algn da pudiera realizar un trabajo similar.
Mi inquietud es captar con mi cmara esas ansestrales costumbres culturales, religiosas y artsticas de los indgenas de Mxico los cuales conservan muchas de sus tradiciones.
El propsito de este trabajo fotogrfico es exhibirlo a mexicanos alejados de su lugar de origen y crear consiencia de sus raices.
hotel hilton Bauska En el viaje por el estado de Michoacn cont con el apoyo del Centro Cultural Tijuana y el Instituto Nacional Indigenista en el recorrido por los pueblos de Chern Carapan, Ichn, Capacuaro, Agahuan, Ahuiran, Paracho, Tacuro, La Cantera. Todas estas comunidades me dieron la oportunidad de captar desde la inocente mirada de una nia hasta el rostro de una viejecita que dice todo, el cual aun todava no ha sido contaminado por los adelantos modernos.

ERROR MSG My restlessness is to capture with my camera those old cultural, religious and artistic customs of the natives from Mexico which conserve many of its traditions.
The purpose of this photographic work is to exhibit it to Mexicans far from its origin place and to create conscience of its roots.
In the trip for the state of Michoacan has the support of the Cultural Center Tijuana and the Indigenist National Institute in the journey for Cheran Carapan's towns, Ichan, Capacuaro, Agahuan, Ahuiran, Paracho, Tacuro, The Quarry. All these communities gave me the opportunity to capture from the innocent look of a girl until the face of an old man that says everything, which has not even been contaminated still by the modern advances.
This is the first work of several that will carry out in the state of Michoacan and possibly in other communities also and that they will continue calling you "ONE DAY WITH THEM" |
